Maximo Linear Asset Manager
IBM Maximo Linear Asset Manager is an add-on product to IBM Maximo Asset Management.
Maximo Linear Asset Manager allows clients to use linear referencing when designing and maintaining assets such as roads, railways and pipelines. Linear Asset Manager allows linear asset owners to define their linear assets by using dynamic segmentation. Asset characteristics (for example, speed limit) can now change over the span of the asset, and the changes can be located using absolute measure or user-defined reference points. Maintenance supervisors can also leverage reference points, such as mile markers or kilometer posts, in the creation of work orders against one or more linear segments.
